My basement renovation guy says indo not 
need a subfloor. He said there are no 
cracks or moisture risks. 
Do I request a subfloor? 
I'm in Canada, so I want to make sure the 
basement is not cold in winter and too hot 
in summer. The drywall taping is complete, 
so flooring is next. The thermostat is at 
19.5 and the basement doesn't feel cold, 
but its not warm. We are getting laminate 
flooring. Will the laminate flooring add 
to the warmth as is? I need to know if we 
should tell him to add subflooring. Thanks
